Satrapi and Project

1. Satrapi's use of a graphic novel to tell the story of her life is an effective tool. By using many of the illustrations as text them selves readers are able to get a better grasp of what she is tring to get across. When one reads a novel one can interpret the same chapter in many different ways and it takes on different meanings. through the illustraition it is clear the message the author wants to present because of the facial expressions shown on the people that can not be misconstrued because the author is not only telling you how one acted or felt but shows the reader. The way she writes the novel helps the reader understand her point of view.
2. The problem I am going to focus on is Chicanas in Society. as for which form my project my take on I am not quite sure which form my presentation will take mostly like some type of art poster. I do know it will include observations and the opinions of others.
