Persepolis/my creative project

When I first skimmed through Persepolis, I wasn't really thrilled with the idea of reading it - for some reason, in the beginning, it kind of reminded me of one of my spanish textbooks in high school. I didn't think I would be able to take it seriously. However, after getting into it, I actually began to really enjoy the idea of using a graphic novel to express such serious topics. I feel like writing it as a comic really helped convey all of the ideas she had, while never really letting the reader forget that this was all being seen through the eyes of a young teenager.

Currently, my creative project seems to be taking the form of a video/slideshow with music.
