Persepoolis Problem

I think that Satrapi's use of the graphic novel is very effective in telling her story. It allows her to give a simple narrative with simple dialogue, in a very emotional way. The pictures allow the reader to connect with the feelings of the characters and not just the story. The use of black and white only, and primarily black gives the reader a sense of bleakness in the protagonists life. when she says that she was an Iranian in western culture, and a westerner in Iranian culture, it shows how she feels lost and the reader is able to percieve this as much through the images as well as through the words.
As for my creative project, I really don't know what form it will take. I was thinking of a research paper/report possibly, but with the addition of the ally, enemy, and foil, I have no idea as I am having a hard time relate the texts to my problem
