privileges

After reading the article by Peggy McIntosh it made me realize white privileges that are in everyday life. As I read through the different conditions that she listed I realized that some of them do apply to me. For example, when it said that you can turn on the television or open the newspaper and see people of my race documented. Another one that I noticed was the one that said when we are taught about our heritage or civilization, I am shown that people of my color made it what it is. These are just some of the white privileges that I feel I experience or have experienced in my life.
