persepolis/creative project

1)I really enjoyed reading Satrapi's books about her life during the Iran revolution. When I started reading it I realized how little knowledge I had of this event in history. As I read on I felt confused of the exact history of this time period. However, I was very interested in continuing to read her account of life during this time. I felt that the form of this narrative made the story more engaging and interesting. I have never read a book like this and I felt that it helped give a mental picture of what things were like with the help of the illustrations. I overall really enjoyed reading her story and I think that her form was an effective way to get her message across.
2)I haven't quite decided what form my creative project might take but I was thinking some kind of computer media, maybe something with powerpoint.
