Strength

"The thing is, you see, that the strongest man in the world is the man who stands most alone." -Henrik Ibsen

Strength, in my culture, is no longer a physicsl attribute. Years ago, strength would have been a physical description of a person, whether they can lift 200 pounds or not. Now, strength is a very different idea. Strength is overcoming a hardship, whether it be surviving a shark attack or surviving a broken heart. Strenght can also be standin up for what one believes in. Nietzsche sees strenght this way. He sees strength as an individual thing, where the individual defends itself against the mass. For example, it could be speeaking ones mind even if everyone else completely diagrees with that person. Although physical strength is still regarded with amazement, strength of the mind and strength of the heart is more awe-inspiring then ever before.
