Strength represented in your culture

In our culture i think strength has to do with overcoming obstacles. Strength isn't necessarily physical of financial. Life is hard and there is a constant flow of problems that are thrown at a person. and whether or not the person can move past them determines their strength in life. Its like that quote, "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger." but simply surviving the hard times doesn't determine ones strength. its about surviviing them and making something of ones self what ever that may be. When people start out in life, they usually have goals and dreams and as one experiences the obstacles of life, they change, but the ability for them to overcome these obstacles while remembering their goals is a test of their strength. If a person is able to overcome a problem then the it will be that much easier for them to face the next one. Eventually it becomes easier to identify the insignificant problems. At the end of ones life he or she can look back, see all that was overcome and be proud of that, be proud that through it all they never lost sight of themself and their goals.
