Frankenstein vs. Rousseau

I believe that Frankenstein confirmed Rousseau's theory that man is essentially good and that it is society that corrupts him. Frankenstein seemed like he could be a good creature if only he was accepted by society, but since he is not, he becomes a violent creature. Frankenstein, in his natural state, is peaceful, however because of society, he becomes a vicious, killing creature and this confirms Rousseau's "State of Nature".
