Rossaou's state of nature- confirmed or denied
By all means, Frankenstein breaks every foundation Rosseau's "state of nature" stands on, primarily because Frankenteins monster is born with an appreciation for the finer aspects of life, yet the stature of a brutish beast. His physical potential surpasses mankind entirely, which makes him a more likely component of the animal kingdom. But he attains his emotional attachment to humanity, which definitely characterizes him as superior to animals in that regard. However, Rosseau's state of nature implies that humans have some potential to progress, but Frankentein's monster is by no means in a position to alter the horrible tragedy that becomes his life. Since there was never such a thing as Frankenstein's monster, theirs really not much to dispute about Rossaou's trajectory.
