Murphys

Hello, my name is Cole Benton

I come from a small town called Murphys. Not many people know where murphys is unless they have actually been there, and that is not much. Murphys is located in Calavaris County, it is a 3.5 hour drive (depending on trafic) North East of Santa Cruz. If you are going to Late Tahoe and you are taking Ebbits pass Murphys is right before the pass. Murphys is located up in the mountens, so I kinda lived in the woods. Some people may call UCSC in the woods and I just laugh at them, but then again I call downtown a city and they laugh at me. The thing I hated most about Murphys is that there was nothing to do. The closest movie theater was 30min away by car. The closest mall was 2 hours away... Until I got DSL and a good computer there wa nothing realy to do. Right before I left all I did was play video games with my friends and go snowboarding in the winter up at the Ski resort.
